About Lerk AI Reviews

Who publishes this site

Lerk AI Reviews is written and published by the team at Lerk Studios, Inc., the company that makes and runs Lerk AI. It is the maker's own guide to its product, not a third-party review, and we say so in the strip at the top of every page, in the footer and in every byline.

That matters, because we have an obvious interest in you trying Lerk AI. So read our opinions as what they are, the views of the people who build it, and judge the facts on their own. To keep the site worth reading anyway, we hold it to a few rules:

  • Nobody else pays for anything here. There are no ads, no sponsored placements and no affiliate links, and we aren't paid by any other company.
  • No ratings or testimonials. We don't give Lerk AI a score, and we don't publish user reviews, quotes, star ratings or user numbers. A score from the maker wouldn't mean much.
  • Downsides stay in. Where a page weighs Lerk AI up, it lists the limits we know about, not only the strengths.

Why this site exists

Before signing up for anything, people look it up: is it any good, what does it cost, is it safe. For a product as young as Lerk AI, the answers they find are often out of date or guessed. We'd rather the first thing you read is accurate, current and written by the people who can check it, downsides included.

Alongside the pages about Lerk AI, the guides cover AI companions in general: what an AI girlfriend or boyfriend is, how to choose an app, and whether one is right for you. Those are written to be useful whichever app you end up using.

How we write and check pages

Every page follows the same method:

  1. Features are checked at the source. We describe what Lerk AI does today, checked against Lerk AI's code and live data, and not what's planned or “coming soon”.
  2. Prices and limits are read live, never typed. Plan prices, star costs, allowances and similar figures come straight from Lerk AI's public price list when a page is built, and again every six hours, and are shown with an “as of” date. If the list can't be read, the figure is left out rather than guessed. The store on Lerk.ai always has the final word.
  3. Policies are quoted, not paraphrased into promises. When we describe what Lerk AI does with your data or what its rules allow, we quote or link the published text.
  4. Other apps are treated fairly by leaving them out. We don't name, rank or rate other companies' apps, and we don't publish their prices or features. Comparisons are made by category, with a neutral checklist you can apply to any app, ours included.
  5. It stays safe for work. Lerk AI is an adult product, but this site describes it in plain, non-explicit language and shows no companion images.

You can see the method at work in the Lerk AI review, which ends with the downsides we know about, and in Is Lerk AI safe?, where each policy statement is a quote.

How we keep pages current

Each page shows the date its text last changed. Live figures update by themselves; the words around them are re-read against the product whenever a feature changes. When a change affects what a page says, we rewrite the page and move its date, rather than adding a note at the bottom.

Links from this site to Lerk.ai carry campaign tags in the address, naming this site and the page the link was on. They let Lerk Studios see how many visits come from here; they carry nothing about you. How Lerk.ai handles referral information and its own analytics is set out in its Cookie and Tracking Technologies Policy.

This site itself has no accounts, comments, forms or advertising. We count page views in aggregate with Vercel Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies.

Corrections

If something here is wrong or out of date, we want to know. Email support@lerk.ai with the subject “lerkaireviews correction”, the page's address and what needs fixing. Factual errors are corrected on the page itself, and the page's date changes with it.

For adults 18 and over

Lerk AI is for adults 18 and over, or older where local law requires it, and this site is written for adults too. Every companion on Lerk AI is a fictional AI character, and every one of them is an adult. Lerk AI's safety page and our own guide to Lerk AI's safety and privacy explain the rules.
